How did you find your perfect wedding day outfits?

We both went to the same bridal boutique where our appointments were an hour apart! They even hid our dresses from one another so we couldn’t pick the same one. We saw each others dresses for the first time down the aisle, and it was one of those raw surprise moments we will cherish forever.

We couldn’t have dreamt of a better day if we tried. We trusted in all our suppliers and made sure we took time to eat the food we loved, drink our personalized wedding cocktails and dance the night away.

How did you deal with the rain predicted on your wedding day?

We had torrential rain leading up to our wedding, up until ten minutes before we had to make the call for our outdoor ceremony to be somewhere else. Luckily we stuck with our gut and opted to have it outside. We had the most beautiful ceremony in the sun and the worst thing that happened all day was all our guests (including the brides) got burnt! When our heads hit the pillow that night, we heard the torrential rain start up again for another twenty-four hours, and we just felt lucky that someone was looking out for us in a special way.

What does marriage mean to you?

Marriage is having one person in your life who you can count on, be your complete self with, and love through all of life’s craziness.

Advice for other couples planning a wedding?

Pick the food you like, the drinks you want to drink, and the music you want to dance to. If you’re having the best time of your life, everyone else will join in! We are also so grateful we wrote our own vows. It made the day personal and memorable.
