LONDON, ENGLAND
Words by Photographer Jess Rose
This styled shoot is loosely inspired by the film ‘Call me by your name’; it imagines how Elio and Oliver might have got married in an intimate, private ceremony followed by a picnic. The shoot took place at The Pergola Hill and Gardens at Hampstead Heath, London.
Words by couple Jacob & Max
We met on Hinge! We spoke over lockdown and then met up when restrictions eased off. The rest is history!
Our favorite memory would have to be our first date in Oxford. When Max arrived to meet me, he stuck his head in my car window to kiss me, and I panicked and closed it on his neck. Then the rest of the date, we fumbled around and laughed in Port Meadow.
The biggest challenge for us would most probably be the distance. We live two hours apart, so seeing one another can be a struggle. We always make it work, though.
My favorite thing about Max would be his wardrobe. He’s also so kind and has the best banter with me. His sense of humor just has me laughing and bouncing off him all day.
And my favorite thing about Jacob would be his positivity and his ability to heighten the energy of any room he enters. His smile is contagious.
We want to keep progressing through our relationship, surprising one another, and learning new things about each other. We’re both keen to travel and hopefully one day soon find a place together.
