What led you to the destination and vibe for your wedding day?

We always wanted to be married at a barn. We had never been to the venue, but when we saw the venue, we knew.

We were going for a barn rustic look for our wedding. We love the country feel, and we choose a town that is near us that one day we plan on starting a family there. In recent years sapphire and I fell in love with country music and just wanted that vibe for our wedding.

Talk to us about your experience finding the perfect outfits.

I had gone to David’s Bridal but did not see what I wanted. I had been looking at Grace Loves Lace for many years. And I took the leap. I could not afford the dresses, but a close friend purchased the dress for me, and I was forever thankful.

Talk to us about the big day! We want all the details.

Honestly, I only remember some things just because the day goes by fast. But I prepared myself not to be a bridezilla or to stress on the wedding day. The reason was that someone told me if you were stressed or irritated, it would show in the pictures. The best way to describe it would be – “However the day was to play out, it was meant to be.”

What are your favorite moments?

My favorite moment was seeing my wife during our first look and just being amazed that I get to have this woman for the rest of my life. We also loved that we got to see every person that means something to us. It was just amazing to see all of our family and friends together.

What does marriage mean to you?

Marriage means to us: Everything we do is for us, even with the good, bad, and ugly. To communicate even when we get in our feels. Not every day is going to be a good one. No matter what, it’s us until the end.
